Molecular and ultrastructural characterisation of novel nano-organisms

Aims of the project are to establish enrichment and axenic cultures of novel nano-organisms; to obtain the complete genomic sequence of DNA and/or RNA of the nanobes, to fully characterise nanobe morphology and ultrastructure using electron microscopy and to establish the metabolism and life cycle of these nano- organisms.
